Lastly, I am snobbishly, neurotically particular about the colors of my trade-mark french-style manicures.the white tip and the 'pink' nail bed have to be 'just right'. I am also very particular about how my hands looks because I use them in business presentations daily. No 'nightly touch-ups' for me.whatever product I apply had better stay put and look great all week without any poo-pooing from me in between.

I also strive for 'low maintenance' in everything I do, and I expect my Sunday-evening manicure to last a full week MINIMUM and to look, well, simply dazzling, throughout the week. I train horses daily, swim a lot, do tons of heavy-duty landscaping, my own housework, and I do this while wearing my nails fairly long and sans gloves, so I am exceptionally hard on my manicures.
